Your step-by-step guide to a vibrant, skin-loving green matcha latte.
Steep 2 grams dried spearmint leaves (or 1 spearmint tea bag) in 30 ml hot water (~80°C) for 3 minutes, then remove the leaves or bag. Let cool slightly — this becomes your spearmint base.
Sift 5 gr pure matcha powder into the warm spearmint water and whisk briskly in a W motion until a smooth, frothy green paste forms with no lumps.
Stir in 7 ml maple syrup or honey. Warm 240 ml oat milk or almond milk to 65–70°C and froth until creamy, or pour over ice for a cold latte.
Pour the matcha-spearmint paste into your milk and stir gently. Top with 1 fresh mint sprig or edible flower (to garnish) and serve immediately.
