How to Make the Perfect Pink Matcha Latte at Home
Creamy, refreshing and naturally pink — the Pink Matcha Latte might look like something that requires a trip to a specialty café, but it’s surprisingly simple to make at home.
Once you know the basic method, you can make it hot, iced, extra creamy or flavored with your favorite ingredients.
Here’s how to make the perfect Angel’s Harvest Pink Matcha Latte.
What You'll Need
You only need a few ingredients:
-
2 grams Angel’s Harvest Pink Matcha
-
60 ml hot water
-
Your favorite milk
-
Ice for an iced latte
-
Optional honey, vanilla or other sweetener
A bamboo matcha whisk works beautifully, although an electric frother can also help you achieve a smooth consistency.
Step 1: Get the Water Temperature Right
Avoid pouring boiling water directly onto your matcha.
Aim for approximately 80°C or 176°F.
Using water below boiling helps you create a smoother cup and prevents the delicate matcha flavors from becoming unnecessarily harsh.

Step 2: Add Your Pink Matcha
Measure approximately 2 grams, or roughly half a teaspoon, of Angel’s Harvest Pink Matcha into your matcha bowl or cup.
For an especially smooth latte, you can sift the powder first.
Step 3: Add Water and Whisk
Pour approximately 60 ml of hot water over the powder.
Using your bamboo whisk, whisk quickly in a W-shaped motion until the mixture is smooth and a light foam develops on top.
This is the secret to that café-style matcha texture.
Step 4: Add Your Milk
For an iced Pink Matcha Latte, fill a glass with ice and add your favorite milk.
Slowly pour the freshly whisked Pink Matcha over the milk.
For a hot latte, warm and froth your milk before combining it with the matcha.
Make It Your Own
Once you’ve mastered the basic recipe, this is where things get fun.
Try adding strawberry cold foam for an extra fruity latte. Add vanilla for something sweet and creamy. Coconut milk complements the coconut already present in the blend beautifully.
You can even make a Pink and Green Matcha Latte by layering traditional green matcha over your Pink Matcha.
Want something sweeter? Add honey.
Want something refreshing? Serve it over plenty of ice.
Want something dessert-inspired? Add vanilla cold foam.
There really isn’t one “right” way to enjoy Pink Matcha.
The best Pink Matcha Latte is the one you look forward to making again tomorrow.
Whisk. Pour. Sip. Think pink.
